Shanthen graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2020 and successfully obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2024. He completed his pupillage at Lee Sok Wah & Co. under the tutelage of our managing partner, Madam Alice Lee Sok Wah, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2025. Currently, His’s practice is primarily centred on the firm’s general litigation department. The areas of law he focuses on consist of, but are not limited to, contractual and corporate disputes, citizenship, family law, general tort and accident disputes. Having been a dedicated student leader and debater, he brings a disciplined and analytical approach to trial preparation and legal research. He is driven by the belief that the law is a powerful instrument for clarity and fairness. He often reflects on the philosophy that “Equity flourishes where empathy walks into the courtroom with reason.”
